Founder & Head Coach – Mindcastle Chess Academy

A visionary leader and passionate mentor, Shashank is the driving force behind Mindcastle Chess Academy. With over 5 years of coaching experience and a decade of tournament play, he brings a wealth of knowledge to every session. Notably featured in the Limca Book of Records and captain of his University Chess Team in the 2022–23 Inter-Zonal Championship, he blends strategic depth with a personal coaching approach that inspires students to excel—both on and off the board. Recently bestowed with Arena Grand Master title by FIDE.

A seasoned college competitor with years of team and individual success, he brings energy, humor, and a deep understanding of positional and tactical play to every student he mentors.
Aditya Lakhe
Coach & Speed Chess Expert

Aditya blends 14+ years of experience with a love for lightning-fast chess. A two-time gold medalist at national-level collegiate and club events, he’s also a top-tier online player, frequently defeating titled players—including GMs—in blitz and bullet formats. With peak ratings placing him in the top 0.2% globally online, Aditya is the go-to coach for sharpening instincts, speed, and digital chess mastery.
